Feb 26, 2011. Heather had the opportunity to participate in the IGSMA Solo & Ensemble Festival. In front of a judge she performed a solo on her viola and she also performed in a trio (viola, violin, cello). Each performance can earn either a 1, 2 or 3 grade - 1 being the highest. Heather got a 1 on her solo. The trio also got a 1. Here is a picture of her and her 2 friends who formed the trio with her. This was taken in the gym which was the warm-up area. They all practiced for weeks.
