Vacation at Grandpa & Grandma's Cabin

Last week we went to my parent's Cabin in Woodgate, NY. We brought our friends, the Houghton's, with us. It was me and my 4 kids, my friend Noel and 3 of her 4 kids, my mom & dad and my nephew Hans. It may take several days for me to post all the pictures I took. My friend says that she'll give me a CD of all the pics she took so I may end up posting more pics in a few weeks.

We drove to the cabin on Saturday June 27th. We did a campfire that night. I don't have any pics from that. These pictures were taken June 28th. My mom and Hans didn't arrive until the evening so they are not in these pics. We went on 2 hikes. Here are some of us on our way up to see Death Falls (named so because someone tried to hike up behind the falls and fell and died.)

Our second hike was up to the Bald Mountain Fire Tower. It's a little over a mile each way. You may think that sounds easy but it was uphill all the way.

My Blog

This blog started as a way to let family and friends who don't live close to us see what was going on in our lives. It has also become a kind of family journal/scrapbook. Enjoy!
