Nov 3, 2012 - THE Hamburger

Bill Abbott, our ward's Young Men President (this is a church volunteer position over the boys ages 12-18 yrs old) takes every young man who is going to serve a mission to a nearby TA truck stop (in Morris, IL) where there is a place called "R-Place Family Eatery."  The challenge is to eat their Ethyl Burger.  Here is a cut and paste from their menu:

The challenge is still awaiting those brave enough to tackle “R” Ethyl. Our four pound cheeseburger with your choice of toppings comes on a big platter to those brave enough to try. If you survive, we will buy! Ethyl comes with rules and regulations, ask your server for details.

You have to get 2 lbs of toppings on your 4 lb burger - and that 2 lbs does not include the bun!   If you can finish within an hour then the burger is free.  So far, none of the guys have been able to finish it.  Christian made his try on Nov 3rd.
