Jan 6, 2012 - Welcome Home Surprise

Well, we drove home from NY to Illinois on Jan 4th.  When we walked in the door that evening we were all like "What is that SMELL?!!"  Turns out the toilet in the basement was slowly leaking while we were gone and had soaked the back corner of the basement.  Brent stopped the leak and we cleaned up what we could.  We called professionals to help us dry everything out.  They did a great job.  The plus side is that insurance will pay for the repairs and also for the entire basement to be re-carpeted and re-painted (thank goodness for insurance!).
