This is the pool at Pulaski Park. Every morning all summer long (except when we were away on vacation) Heather, Geoffrey and Brian had swimming lessons here. They are provided free by the City of Poughkeepsie. Mr. Nash is the teacher. He's been doing it for years and the kids loved it.
Before each class the kids have to do jumping jacks, push ups and
sit ups. Here is Heather in the middle of a jumping jack.

Heather during class. They do laps with the kickboards so they can practice the different kicks they've been taught. Then they switch to doing laps without the kickboards.
