As part of Heather's birthday celebration her and I got to spend Jan 14th in the city. There was no school so we left around 12 Noon and drove downtown. We enjoyed the "Magnificent Mile" which, for those of you who don't know, is a mile long section of Michigan Avenue with some of the best shopping in the world. We walked/shopped/ate. Heather had her make-up done in Neiman Marcus and her hair done in Macy's. We enjoyed the Lego store, Disney store, Gap, Crate & Barrel (that one was for me), Guess, and the Apple store among others. In a candy store we saw a dress made out of Skittles and Skittles wrappers. We met Brent at the Grand Luxe Cafe for dinner and then the 3 of us went to see Wicked which was AMAZING! The only camera I had was my cell phone so the pics are not of the highest quality but here they are anyway...

All 3 of us really loved Wicked. They don't allow pictures to be taken in the theater. The actresses who played the 2 witches were fantastic. I would go see it again and again if I had the time.

Wow. That sounds like the perfect birthday. Will you come and be my mom and do my birthday in may? Also, heath looks fabulous. And i'm sorry she and i have that berardi forehead. We need the bangs and at least they are in style now.
