We went on Saturday to get our Christmas tree. Christian was not with us because he left on Friday to go spelunking with the other 16-18 year old young men from church. They did not come home until about 8pm on Saturday night. He said it was okay if we got the tree without him. We will all decorate it together on Monday night.
It was a beautiful day on Saturday. Clear sky, very sunny and about 51 degrees. It was a nice change from last year when we froze. Here are Geoffrey, Brian, Heather and Brent in front of our chosen tree.
They put the tree in a shaker to get the dead needles and stuff to fall off.
This year's tree is a bit shorter than usual but it was so perfectly shaped that we all agreed we wanted it.

We really liked this Christmas tree farm. They even had free hot chocolate and cookies which we all enjoyed.

Can't wait to see pics of it decorated! I can't believe Brent is in short sleeves! It must have been warm! Looks like the most perfectly shaped tree.
